Mk4 - Every electrical fault imaginable?

After 18 months and 19,000 miles of pretty much trouble-free driving, my Focus Ecoblue 120 ST-Line X Auto broke down yesterday. Started with BLIS, pre-collision assist warnings, and gradually cycled through 13 different warnings before arriving at 'Powertrain malfunction'. The vehicle lost power, cut out and became stuck in 'Park', rendering it a non-starter and unable to even push it out of the way. Called Ford Assistance and the AA arrived in fairly good time, and long story short, it's been recovered to my local Ford dealer. Not entirely sure how soon it'll be looked at or what the problem actually is.

Anybody experienced anything similar? AA guy reckoned it might be a communication problem with the electrics. Thankfully wasn't a main road and was fairly near home, but still frustrating.

A 2022 car with 300 miles on it?? Take it back to Ford, stand your ground, be polite, and reject the car in favour of another new one that works. It's not up to you to solve the fault...
