Rear seat rattle

OK so it might just be bad luck but my 2020 focus hatchback has got a really annoying rattle at low speeds and I've worked out that it's the rear seat back latching mech. It seems to have a bit of play in it that allows the seat back to rattle a bit. It's doing my spud in and I just wondered if anyone else had been experiencing the same and sorted a fix. Ta, stressed of Derby.

I folded some cardboard up over the metal bar thing on the back seat so when its shut back it's nice and tight

I frequently get an annoying rattle coming from the front passenger seat but it always stops as soon as the wife gets out.....strange that 😉😉

seems a funny thing for a car to experience but i also did. on passenger side of mk3 estate.  same place .the locking mechanism.  i wrapped a bit of kitchen roll round the bar and then pushed it hard into locking position.  no problem since

It's sorted. I cut a short piece of bike inner tube and wrapped it around the bar, stapled and sprayed with silicone spray to stop any squeaking. Job done and thanks for all your replies 👍
