2010 1.6 diesel Ford Focus trying to start but isn’t actually starting

I try to start my car but it isn’t actually starting. It wants to but doesn’t actually kick in & start 🤷‍♀️ It’s been happening on & off for a couple of months but normally starts after 1 or 2 turns off the key but hasn’t wanted to start for the last 48 hours 

I did take it the garage but they said that there was no code that came up & nothing they could see that was wrong & it had a full diagnosis done 

I do keep going out to try it but it doesn’t work 

I know nothing about cars so was hoping someone might be able to help 🤞🏼
