Mondeo Paint Code Confusion

Hello everyone. I have a 2007 Mondeo Edge 2.0 tdci 140. There is a bit of confusion on what colour my car is. According to my black chassis sticker on the drivers door post my paint code is 66. My service book says it is Moondust Silver but when you look on the Ford paint code chart. It says 66 is Stardust Silver. I have some Moondust Silver paint but I don’t want to use it if it is wrong. Could someone please confirm which it is please ? Thanks.

Might be worth checking ETIS HERE ...Stick your reg number in and it will tell you the colour in the top right of the screen next to an image of a Mondeo.

Ford paint codes change depending on year and model, so a 66 for one particular year and model, might not be Stardust Silver for another year and model.

Oh, btw, my service book has written in it by the original dealership that the car is GREEN, but its actually Stardust Silver. When I bought the car I had to get the V5 altered. What does it say on your V5?

Just checked ETIS and it says my car is Stardust Silver.

No more confusion. Thanks Guys.

It’s a good job I didn’t use my touch up  stick. 😆
