Snowflake

The little snowflake sign on the dash has always been yellow for 1 - 4 degrees and red for 0 degrees and below on all my previous Fiestas.   The temperature when I went out this morning was -3 degrees but the snowflake was amber.   Has it been changed?

I'd agree with that, but I tell my passengers:

Yellow for Cold, Red for B****y Cold!

I don't know where it is sited on a new Fiesta, but as I'm sure you know, the sensor measures under bonnet temperature when car is stationery,  and air temperature when it is moving.  I did have a sensor that failed, and was always wrong, but replaced it from a scrappy, as new price is looney money.

On my fusion It was amber from 4^o down to zero then it changed to red but on my Ecosport it's amber from 4^o and doesn't change when it gets to zero, no red.
