Storrm Posted January 29, 2021 Share Posted January 29, 2021 Hi, Has anyone had the fault code p1588-72 Throttle control detected loss of return spring on a Fiesta ST? The dash has thrown up the spanner light and saying ‘Engine service now’ (not needed). The car is hunting and in limp mode. However, after being off for a period of time, this disappears and she drives fine. It only happens when it’s turned back on again.
