Soaking wet rear carpet

I have a 2011 ford focus estate. I have just recently had the leak in my boot fixed which was coming in through the roof rails. 
however now I’ve notice the carpet in the rear of the car are getting absolutely soaked in bad weather. 
its not wet on the carpet on the sides where the doors are situated, its literally in the middle and its soaking. Any ideas?

    I have the same problem, althought I have the hatch back, not the estate. My leak is in the boot, and because I park the car on a slight slope, the water runs under the back seat and on to the floor under the driver's seat, which then soaks the carpet. It might be worth putting some tissue down in the back, and tracing where the water in running down to the carpet.
