Mk2 Powertrain Warning Light on

Hi,

 

I was driving my 06 Focus and suddenly the Powertrain Warning Light came on. The little red ! Inside a cog light. Car still drives fine, no power loss or weird noises or anything like that. 

Pulled over in a parking lot, shut the engine for a few minutes and turned it on again, no light this time, after driving for 2 miles the light came up again. Same as before, car running fine.

What can be the issue? Haven't checked the codes yet. 

Light came on the first time after driving for a bit at 2500-3000 rpm in 2nd gear, could that be the issue?

My car is a Focus Sport 1.8 TDCI.
