Drivers door not opening from inside after a cold night, later on in the day starts to work fine could anyone shed any light on this for me please thanks

White grease (spray) is better, WD40 will free it up but it dries out after a while.

WD40 is not a lubricant, it's a penetrating spray. 
 

Use light grease or chain oil
