Water in Boot .

Featured Replies

Good Evening.

I have just had my car in with my local Bristol street motors for water in my boot. They did a diagnostic test and told me it was coming from the Air vents behind the rear bumper and will cost £265 to fix. Has anyone else had this problem to my car is a 2014 Ford focus eco boost.

Common issue on the MK3. I sealed the air vents on mine and my partner's myself. Took around an hour each time.

This thread will show you what's involved and what the issue is.

It is such a common issue that there is a 'sticky' post at the front page of this forum! LOL Ford seem to have difficulty building a Focus that keeps out water! Oh, just realised it's the same thread that has just been posted above! 🤣
