Too much anti freeze?

Featured Replies

I wanted to top up my Radiator so i I put pure Anti Freeze (not diluted) into my cooling system id say about 200ml but since im getting a burning smell in the car but the Temp Gauge has remained the same as before? Should i remove some coolant (turkey baster) and replace with water? thanks

Did you spill any of the Anti Freeze on the engine, exhaust etc?

Even if your overall antifreeze mix was a little too strong, it wouldn't cause a burning smell.  It's more likely you spilt some of it and it's now getting burnt off when the engine gets hot.
