Voice control constant prompting

Hey everyone 

so Ford Focus zetec 2009 

The voice control won’t stop prompting. Everytime I now turn the car on it’s ‘ Device please ‘ , it continues randomly during journeys. Can go away for months and then re appear. 
 

Now I have even removed the connection to the voice control button and keypad- so the whole panel is off - I have reset the battery or radio and still continues. 
 

has anyone had this issue - any advice appreciated - as I have typed this message it’s gone off 4 times ... 🤦‍♀️

    This could be that it thinks it's lost the phone that is paired so it's trying to reconnect each time. Try removing any phones in the settings screen and/or re-add.
