Hlarry
I have just been checking the battery voltage having recharged the battery following a flat after not using the car for a few months (and it was during the very cold spell). The battery voltage seems fine now (around 12.6 v) but when I turn the engine on, it is just over 15 v. As this is more than 14.7 v which seems to be the recommended standard for other cars, I wonder if there is something wrong with the voltage regulator or is this normal on these cars? The battery by the way was changed last year. Cheers. H.
TomsFocus
That's how the SmartCharge works. Raises voltage briefly after cold start.
