    Mandatory requirement for a car that came with a DPF to have one in and working to pass its MOT

    yes 3 years back no one cared... but these days MOT inspectors love to catch dodgy places letting vehicles with no DPF pass - so few let this ride any more..  A testers MOT license is a way to print money.... losing it just coz u want to kill the planet won't last much longer
