Water under carpet in driver's side

My Ford Focus CC-1  1.6   2008 -

Driver's side is full of water under the carpet.

I can see there is water because when I  lift part of the carpet flap up in the driver's well the water is on the sill under the carpet. The back passenger's carpet is wet too.

Would anyone have any ideas of what this could be caused from?
