    I have a guide: fitted a 7" aftermarket head unit aswell as TV tuner and reverse camera

    Entirely agree! Took me while and a few goes to get one, a cheap MagMount in the end solved my issues!

    I may be interested in taking the 6000cd off your hands if it's in good nick... and the price is right! 😉  My Blaupunkt TravelPilot has just gone belly up and I'm not bothered about upgrading to anything fancy, quite happy to replace it with something relatively basic.

    Yup, cheers, I found that too when I was chasing down a potential replacement last night.  I've just realised that the 6000cd unit might actually not be compatible with my Focus though - I have concerns about the wiring and quad-connector configuration  - so am probably better off looking for a Sony unit as this might be a direct replacement.
