jonj1611
My 2007 Focus ST currently has the oval Sony head unit it in it, I am bringing it a bit more up to date with a double din Pioneer however I want to retain my steering wheel controls. Connects2 has 2 interfaces, one for Vehicles without 12V Ignition Feed in Harness and one for Vehicles with 12V Ignition Feed in Harness. Believe the first one has something to do with can bus. Anyway how do I find out which one I have? As I don't have a clue, the stereo will come on without any keys in the ignition but beyond that I don't have a clue how to find out. Any help appreciated
JW1982
The Focus MK2/MK2.5 has a conventional (12 Volt) ignition signal. On these vehicles the ignition signal is not communicated digitally over the CANbus network.

JW1982
Yes, Apart from the engine/transmission and the additional gauges an ST/RS is electronically no different from any other "normal" Focus MK2/MK2.5.
