Smoking exhaust

I have a 19 plate focus on 19000 miles I have noticed at lights and idling there is a bit of smoke from exhaust is this normal on 3 cylinder engine's? The smoke isn't black neither does it smell of petrol. Water and oil levels are fine and no gunk round oil filler cap. Any ideas?
