Alpha123
Looking to replace the door on my focus but the replacement door has a black trim piece on the outside. What’s the best way to swap over the black for the old blue one?
TomsFocus
I think they're glued around the edge with 2 or 3 clips in the middle. A bit of heat and dental floss should cut through the adhesive, then gently pull the clips where you can feel resistance. They'll most likely break at that age and need replacing as they get brittle over time.
Alpha123
Dental floss is a good idea. Might give it a try and stick it back on with some double sided tape or something. Cheers

Any idea how the wiring between the door and the body is disconnected before removal? It’s my first car so this is new to me
