GingeSylo
Hi all! I currently have a 2001 1.4 Focus with 198,000 miles on the clock but I'm looking at a 2017 1.0 Ecoboost fiesta as a new car. My friend recommended me to join this site for some advise and guidance :) Hope everyone is safe and well.

Hi, as a previous owner of a 1.0 ecoboost, I can safely say the car was perfect and didn't have any problems. They are good cars 👍🏼
hilljamie17
Ginge, you’ll probably hear some critics about ecoboost engines. But if I’m honest, the 2013 models had an overheating issue but it wasn’t the engine itself, it was a faulty pipe which leaked the coolant. But as you said you’re looking at a 2017 model so you will be fine. I had a 2016 model on a 66 plate and was a brilliant car for me 👍🏼 Was sad to see it go.
