Focus st mk3 2014 brake light fault and engine cutout

Featured Replies

Hi all

Maybe someone clued up on the mk3 can help me.

Recently the car came up with brake light fault and the car instantly cuts out. Very dangerous.

Have reset on forscan but fault come back fairly soon

The brake lights stay on however this doesn't happen straight away its intermittent but once on they stay on.  C111a c111b 15 is what the codes are.

So far things completed are all new bulbs. Checked earths clean and regrease. Also done all the splices in the loom.

3 different brake light switches.

Weirdly with just ignition on the booost gauge moves to 3/4 when pressing brake.

Any suggestions I'm about 20 hours into this and still cant solve it.
