MK3 Focus 13 Plate - Water in front passenger footwell.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have discovered water in the front passenger footwell. After searching through the internet and getting the car checked out. I am still unable to fathom where the water is coming from. The boot is dry (read about the vents behind the back bumper) The AC drain is clear. I have taken up the carpet and placed a cloth on the floor. This gets wet/damp even when it's not raining. The coolant levels are fine, I am at a loss of where the water is coming from. A mechanic friend has had the car on the ramp, take the heat shields off the underneath and had a good look round and also checked the AC drain. All looks in order. Has anybody got any ideas or seen this before?

Thanks in advance,
