ivanov
Hello i recently got a 2009 Focus with a Blaupunkt FX multimedia. everything seems to be OK ( USB, Radio, BT ) a friend asked to check if a CD would play (skips in his car ) so i fed it to the slot and all was good . so i decided to eject it and it gave me "CD drive is locked! Please contact FORD dealer for unlocking." how is the CD locked if it plays music ? i can see the content of it and select songs and they sound OK ... does anyone have any idea ? thank you! ivanov
Just in case someone else is interested in this hold NAV + SET buttons for 3-4 seconds which gives you a menu where you can select to unlock or lock the CD . it will ask for the unit's code!

Well done for posting solution, so often, folk just print the problem with no follow up, which then disappears into obscurity. Glad you got it sorted and welcome to the forum...
