Strange happenings with Aux on 06 Focus

I’ve have an old 2006 Focus that was unused for about 8 months. Everything works fine except the terrible reception on the radio, and the Aux.

It works fine for an unspecified amount of time before periodically cutting out for about half a second, then eventually just refusing to work at all. Quite often it will work for around 30 mins, then when I turn the engine off and back on, nothing.

Tried multiple devices and wires, so I’m convinced it’s the Radio. 6000CD without bluetooth

Any ideas? Thanks

Yep, shove in landfill and buy a replacement. You can pick up 6000CDs on eBay for about £20, make sure it comes complete with code. Not worth the time/effort/expense on diagnosing the fault. Make sure it's a like for like replacement, some older 6000CDs do not have the 'AUX' button! Welcome to the forum...

Guess I’ll do that then. Thank you for the help.
