[MK3] Rear wiper arm replacement?

Featured Replies

Tried changing my rear wiper and the plastic just broke off so now wiper won't hold in place.

Anyone got part number or know a good replacement?

Managed to find some loctite, glued it to back together for now.

Searching 1786268 should get what you need.

If you go on Ebay, make sure you get a  genuine one (even used), I got a 'copy' rear arm and it lasted 2 weeks before breaking (when I lifted it to wash rear screen) From memory, I think they are manufactured by Bosch?

Pretty expensive original part to replace, I thought it was just plastic cover. I am pretty sure I have never replaced the rear wiper since I bought the car in 2013 but will pop down to local breakers and see if I can grab original one rather than 3rd party.

Hopefully front wipers will be straight swap!
