AVR2
I need to replace a heater hose on my 2002 Maverick 2.0L (Zetec). The actual Motorcraft part is long since discontinued. It ought to be easy enough to use generic hose, the only thing that worries me is the plastic fitting. It's 20-year-old plastic that's been through a gazillion heat cycles so it's going to be brittle, and if I damage it getting the old hose off, I'd like to know my options. Can you still get those fittings, or a modern alternative?
