Turbo bar gauge

My oil bar gauge sits at about 2 bar on idol and goes up and down when trouthing should it stay at a set bar

Slightly confusing question. Is it a turbo gauge as the title of your post or an oil pressure gauge as the body of your question? Either way a gauge that sits in the same place all the time would be pretty pointless. I'd expect a pressure gauge for either turbo boost or oil pressure to go up when the engine is revved and down when you take your foot off the accelerator.
