Hi everyone!

I have a Focus Mk2.5 and a Sony XAV 3500 car stereo. I installed it myself and made sure to buy the right stereo control stalk adapter but when I flick the control to skip a song, sometimes it will go to the previous song, sometimes it will skip to the next song, it's really annoying!

I tried remapping the controls in the stereo menu but this doesn't work as when I choose an option (e.g. skip song) and then flick the switch on the column to register it, it won't accept the next command (e.g. previous song) as the stereo thinks I'm choosing to register the same button as the last command, so I just use the stereo's default settings.

I didn't have any issues with my old Alpine stereo.

Does anyone have any ideas or tips I could try out to fix this issue?
