Struggle to start

Featured Replies

So on Sunday I had a misfire with the flashing engine light so I turned it off and retried it and it fired up right away no problems and it drove the very best, on the Tuesday I went to start it and it wouldn’t go it was turning over but not starting, I got the AA out and with a lot of throttle and nearly flooding the engine it fired up and sounded abit rough before settling down.

If left for a day it’ll struggle to start but will go after some throttle but after a drive it’s fine.

The head gasket went a over a year ago and was fixed and I’m thinking this is low compression probably from the gasket again anyone have any advice or another idea of the culprit

If you've had an engine light, then there will be a fault logged. I'd get that read first.
