Lj73
Hi. My 2018 Focus went in the garage for various electrical problems and they said that they had done 18 required updates. Since getting it back I have noticed that the front parking sensor beep comes from the front Speakers and the rear from the rear Speakers, also they appear to no longer decrease the radio volume when engaged. Does this sound like yet another gremlin in the electrics?
unofix
Hello Lee, and welcome to the Ford Owners Club. I have a 2019 Focus and the sound of the front sensors seems to come from the front Speakers and the rear sensors from the rear Speakers. I consider this to be a good idea and quite pleased with it. As to decreasing the radio volume when the sensors operate I've never noticed. Next time I go out in the car I'll pay attention and see if the volume changes. DaSingh
Never really noticed personally but assuming a part of the updates was one for the PAM (Parking Assist/Aid Module) which may have changed the way you hear the beeps.
