dastardly dave
Hi. Do you know how to remove the insulation panel which is fitted to the underside of the bonnet on my Ford Focus MK 2? Does it just pull off or is there a particular technique to remove it? The windscreen washer jets have stopped working and I would like to check the underside of the jets mounted to the bonnet to see if they are blocked. StephenFord
My car came with no under bonnet insulation, but thought a pic of it would give you a guide to where the fittings/hoses etc are located. I've removed insulation from other cars, and they all have had simple plastic poppers that simply unclip. (of course, I could be wrong with the Focus never having seen the actual insulation! LOL) Try and use a proper claw trim tool to remove as a screwdriver often breaks them. No biggie though as replacements are cheap to source, and you often don't need to replace them all!
