Ford Focus 2010 MK2 Engine Smoke & Engine Covered In Oil

Hi All,

I recently started to notice a smell of fumes inside the car and now there is smoke coming from the engine after about a minute of starting the car.

I opened the bonnet to inspect the engine and after removing the engine cover, I noticed there was oil everywhere.

Is this as simple as cleaning up the mess and replacing gaskets because of an oil leak or am I looking at something more expensive?

I'm hoping this looks worse than it is because I can't afford a big repair bill right now.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
