Rsjohnb
Hi, My little Mk5 failed her MOT on Friday due to anti roll bar bushes, I’ve sourced the bushes (buttons) but after jacking the car up and removing the wheels the access is VERY limited, I don’t think I can get in with conventional spammers, I’m I missing a trick here? Do I need to drop the front end out to get access? Any advise much appreciated. Thanks John

First, drop the front subframe down which ultimately it the Correct way to do it. Secondly, remove the front bolt using a deep 10mm socket on both sides & bend the brackets enough to slide the bushes out/in. Use a lever bar against the chassis to bend bracket back down and start the bolt by hand. I hope this helps!
