Featured Replies

Afternoon guys

im in need of some help, my St170 has developed a lighting issue, ive only got brake lights and dipped and main beam but no number plate, rear lights, dash lights, gauge lights and dial lights, ive checked fuses, wiring behind the dash, light switch and center console but im drawing a blank, has anyone else had this issue before??

Thanks Russ

Sounds very much like a BCM fault.

Check the BCM plugs and sockets for signs of water/corrosion

checked it already mate, all clean and plugged in, ive been at it for the last 4 hours and its driving me insane

Disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes. With the battery disconnected operate the brakes a few times just to kill any charged up capacitors in the system.

Re-connect the battery and start the car before testing the lights, and then see if things are back to normal
