Mk4 Digital Dash - can any maps/indications be shown?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I think I had read a thread on it, but can’t find it anymore. I understand no navigation app is going to show the maps on the new digital driver dash , but what app will show at least the directions to take (e.g. turn left or right)? Thanks

btw so stupid the maps can’t be shown on the digital dash!

It depends on what Sync version you have. I have SYNC 3.4 on my S-Max and both the in-built navigation and Google maps, via Android Auto, show the next turns and road numbers etc on the digital dash.

Thanks. Weird. I have the latest SYNC and with Apple CarPlay I don’t get any directions on the digital dash.. also have you heard anything about an introduction of the full map in future updates?

Think you have to enable setting using forscan.
