Upgrading a Sync2 unit to Sync 3 unit in a 2016 ford focus tdi 1.6 Ireland

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I'm sure if this has been asked , as I can only see posts and videos on upgrading from sync 1 to sync 2 and any videos I do find for the sync 2 to 3 change is US based and not sure if they are suitable as I'm here in Ireland.

I'm looking to upgrade my Sync 2 unite to sync 3 in my ford focus titanium.  My current unit does not have navigation or auto lights & wipers.   It has rear parking sensors.  I would like to get sync 3 and have maps too.

So if anyone knows of any information on instructions how to convert the sync 2 over to sync 3 and where to buys the necessary parts, would be greatly appreciated.  😃
