I have had a rodent problem over last weekend which has chewed through one of my aircon pipes.

I have replaced the pipe this morning and taken the car to be gassed, but i cant get the compressor to kick in.

 

when the AC is turned on the fan is kicking in, i have 4.5v on the coil side if the relay. if i short the relay pins the compressor kicks in and all seems to be working, the fan changed in speed as it should etc.

Anyone any ideas ad i'm now at a loss. i'm guessing the low pressure is fine as the fan is kicking in which it didn't when the system was empty.
