2017 MK3.5 Ford Focus ST3 OEM Multicolour Ambient Lighting Retrofit onto SYNC3

I would like to retrofit my ambient lighting from the red to the multicolour type which is avialble on the titanium X and other ford models. 

Is it as simple as buying the door handle light and footwell lights from ford and wiring it up or is it more complicated.

I am also aware that sync2 models cam with teh dimmer switch overhead to control the ambient lighting but I would like to control it using the SYNC3 system as it is done on other ford models. 

Have seen someone do a similar retrofit on the mondeo and other ford models with good instructuions but I am yet to see one for the ford.

How would I do this retrofit. Thanks in advice.
