unofix Posted August 1, 2021 Share Posted August 1, 2021 Hi Del, I'm not up much on the 2003 Focus, but does it have 'Swirl Flaps' in the inlet manifold ? DaveT70 Posted August 6, 2021 Share Posted August 6, 2021 Hi, did you disconnect the battery? If not disconnect for 10 mins, then when reconnected turn the ignition on but do not start engine OR TOUCH THROTTLE. Leave for a minute and it should re-set. Then when you do start engine, don't touch throttle again and leave to idle for one minute. If that fails, throttle body is faulty 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
