AllanB
I am having problems with the DAB Radio, its Crap !!. Recently had a 21 plate courtesy car, base Model Fiesta, and Perfect DAB, never dropped signal all week, get back in the 18 plate Edge and constant dropping, Why ?? Is it possible to replace the DAB receiver with a newer version, hopefully one that works better than the original, and where is it located in the Edge ? also thinking of upgrading the Sync 3 to 3.4, will that help the issie ? Any info on this would be appriciated
simonb65
There is a DAB antenna amplifier behind the boot lid trim, maybe that's faulty! Do a search on this forum and you'll find a discussion about it and some service manual pages showing the location and how to get to it. Try this ... StephenFord
I doubt it's the 'head unit', most DAB issues are always down to the signal being received so you likely have an aerial issue...
