badameco
Hi. Having some problems over here with my 1988 ford Escort xr3i. The radiator fan kicks in too late and with low speed not top speed... No problem if the car is moving as temperature keeps at "3 o'clock" but if I stop for a wile the car sometimes cuts off. Can someone point me out where is the "fan switch" (I will change it for a new one...) and how I can make the fan start at top speed from start? Thanks. badameco
well... I found it ... the unit makes the fan kick on with real high temperatures aprox 95ºC and obviously the engine turns off... I made a temporary direct connection with a remote relay so I can turn the fan on remotely when I want... basically I'm the sensor now... I verified that if I turn the fan on at about the "m" of the "engine temperature" at the dashboard it's enough for the engine not to cut out... not a solution... LOL can anyone tell me one some "brand" of sensor that makes the fan start at lower temperature? (aprox 85ºC) thanks.
