Chopped Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 hi there,,i have a 53 plate ford ka 1.3 duratec petrol engine,,i have a small coolant leak on a sensor on the heater section for the car interior (see Pics) is there a rubber o ring on the sensor as the leak is only around this sensor,, seems to be held in a spring clip affair,,is it easy to replace ?? many thanks Chopped Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
delboy Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 they are easy to sort out remove the wire plug then remove the clip that holds the sensor in place just pull the sensor out of the body then as you said fit a new seal(0 ring) then refit it all. make sure you clean all components prior to refitting them you may find you will loose some coolant so be ready for the leakage m8.
