tlo
I have 195 55 16 wheels on my fusion at the mo and was wondering what would be a good size 16" tyre i could fit to fill the wheel arches out a bit ? thanks
Luke4efc
The short answer is you can't. By increasing the circumference of the wheel, your speedo will read lower than your actual speed. If you want to close your arch gap you're best lowering the car.

isetta
And if you fit anything with a bigger circumference you are likely to have problems with the tyres rubbing on something when you turn the steering

The profile is a percentage of the width, so 55% of 205 will be more than 55% of 195 (hence the increase in circumference).
