Focus hesitation/flat spot at 1700 RPM

My wife’s Focus 1.0 auto (2019) has developed a flat spot or hesitation at 1700 RPM.

it happens in every gear but most noticeable on the motorway at 55 ish MPH.

The car is low mileage for its age (17k).

at approx 1700 RPM it feels like it’s missing and will slightly jerk constantly until I go above or below the 1700 Revs area.

I’ve tried to search before posting but can’t find anything like this.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

If it happens whenever you have a steady right foot on the Accelerator and disappears if you press or release your foot slightly and doesn't happen in Sports Mode then it may be the Cylinder Deactivation Vibration problems that a lot of people are complaining about.

Plenty of posts on this Forum if you do a search and no cure that I have heard of.

Agreed, put the car in "SPORT" mode and see if it still does it
