Heated from screen not working

Hi everyone, my front heated windscreen has stopped working on my 2016 focus. I’ve checked fuses and they are ok. Also there are two connectors inside the car above the rear view mirror. These are plugged in tight and snug and they also spark a little bit, which hopefully is a good sign that everything’s working up to that point. Any ideas? Many thanks

Does the stop start work? On a 2016 then my guess would be that your battery is on its way out.

Did they reset the BMS when it was swapped over? You can find the procedure on Google.

Put the battery on charge overnight. Front heated screen requires battery SOC to be at least 70%. Also the outside temperature needs to be 7C or less.

Think you’ll find it’s fuses 14 & 16 in the engine junction box, if they are ok it’s either bad connection to screen, broken wire or the screen totally packed up on that side.
