Galaxy Heater Blower

Hello. I have a 97 reg TDI Giha model with climate controls, When i start up the heater blower work's fine on all settings for about a minute and then slows down

and then stops and will not work after that untill i stop for awhile and restart the car.

Can anyone help me with this issue, Thank's

have you got auto climate control?,are the heating controls set to auto? as the fan speed will adjust itself accordingley to maintain the temp which is set on the display, when the cabin reaches the desired temp the fan will slow or stop untill needed. if auto setting is on try switching it off to see if things inprove.

Hi, the auto on the climate control is switched off and the problem is still there, tbh i never have used the auto i have always adjusted it the manual way.

P.S whats is the "ECO" Button for as i dont have the book on the car :)

if i remember right the eco button should run the heater without the aircon on.

My Biggest issue is still the fan is cutting off in the 1st minute of starting, dose anyone have any information on this problem it's stumped me

theonly other thing i can think of is the resisiter pack starting to fail.

I have the exact same problem. Works 1-2 minutes, then slowly dies.

My car is a Ford Galaxy 1998 with manual A/C.

Did you find the cause?
