I have a 97 reg TDI Giha model with climate controls, When i start up the heater blower work's fine on all settings for about a minute and then slows down and then stops and will not work after that untill i stop for awhile and restart the car. mintalkin Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 have you got auto climate control?,are the heating controls set to auto? as the fan speed will adjust itself accordingley to maintain the temp which is set on the display, when the cabin reaches the desired temp the fan will slow or stop untill needed. if auto setting is on try switching it off to see if things inprove.
