Midgeman
Hi Can anyone help with my problem? I have recently purchased a Sep 2019 Kuga ST Line Edition (Manual Gearbox) but am unable to get the features on the Ford Pass App that I had on my 2019 Focus Vignale I have tried deleting the App from my phone and then downloading it again I have done a Master Reset on the Sync but when I try to match the car to the Ford Pass App the phone only has an illustration of the car with the caption 2019 Kuga and the following Items are missing: Remote Lock/Unlock, Current Location of vehicle, oil Life, Tyre Pressures, service Record Etc Etc. The phone I am using is a Samsung Galaxy A12 (Android) which worked perfectly with the Vignale so I don't think it is that, the phone is giving permission for the Ford Pass App and bluetooth is enabled. I believe I have followed the Ford instructions to the letter but could it be that I am missing something really obvious when setting the Pass App up on the car or is it that the Kuga does not support the functions I had on the Vignale. Any suggestions would be welcome
unofix
Before spending too much time with the standard 'FordPass' app, try downloading and using the alternative called 'FordPass Pro' you would expect them to both be from the same people at Ford but in fact there are two different development teams. The 'Pro' app seems more reliable and often once it is working the original will also work. Failing that, disconnect the vehicle battery for 30 minutes and then try doing the reset again after the batter has been reconnected. Of course all this is assuming your Kuga has a modem fitted. Does it have the 'SOS' emergency button on the overhead console ?

Hi thanks for taking the time to reply to my post I can confirm that my Kuga DOES NOT have the SOS button in the overhead console so are you saying that without that the vehicle will not have the Modem required to facilitate the Ford Pass App giving all the features I had on the Focus Vignale ? I presumed that as the vehicles were both built and registered in Sep 2019 that they would both have the same operating systems.
unofix
Hi, I've not know a Ford vehicle that does have a modem, to not have the SOS button so my guess would be that you don't have a built in modem. Maybe @iantt will be able to check for you and confirm one way or the other
