Jonro2009
The other option, although a little more expensive, would be THIS one. Same reputable source, tried and tested by many, but this one is what you would call 'future proof'. It has the newest tech and is faster, it's also the one that Forscan recommend now. The one in the link above is absolutely fine too, I've never had any problems using either.

Tizer
If you are new to FORScan then it would be a good Idea to have a read at this user guide before you get set up. There is also a How to section for more advanced things on the FORScan site. https://forscan.org/documentation.html

unofix
The new all singing and dancing 'vLinker FS' cable for £34 is the future proof lead for FORScan. Just remember nothing is ever future proof. On vehicles 2013 and older there is no benefit to be gained using the vLinker FS cable other than the auto switching between MS and HS canbus. A good quality ELM327(modified) cable for £20 will do everything you could need on an older car. You can even get them with auto switching for £25, but if you are thinking of doing that, then you may as well buy the vLinker FS cable. vLinker FS: https://www.obd2shop.co.uk/wholesale/vgate-vlinker-fs-elm327-for-ford.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwvNaYBhA3EiwACgndgjvb7mpvylVx5Dqj68BxZkYIpj9XxVRz3s9B9AIME0Nl1b7X_g3EDBoCcCwQAvD_BwE ELM327(modified): https://tunnelrat-electronics.fwscart.com/USB_Modified_with_switch_ELM327/p4541936_17045457.aspx ELM327(auto switcher): https://tunnelrat-electronics.fwscart.com/USB_Auto_Switch_Modified_ELM327/p4541936_19965062.aspx
