Freebird
Hi, my last vehicle was keyless entry also and they are being stolen like you wouldnt believe. Thieves used to have to pick up a signal from the key usualy by holding a device near the house which relayed the signal to a device by the car and bingo they were away. Now they have something called a 'game boy' device which doesnt need to pick up the signal from the key. So I always use a steering wheel lock also, but they can saw through the steerting wheel or pick the lock. So being a tad paranoid having just bought my Ecosport I wonder how nickable Ecosports are, and if any members have installed a second alarm of some type. Any info gratefully recieved. TomsFocus
EcoSports aren't really desirable. It's mainly Fiesta's that get stolen, followed by the odd Focus.
stoolzo
you can turn off keyless entry in settings, this should make it harder to steel, mine doesnt have that which I prefer, its a 2019 model, I also use a Faraday wallet to keep my car key in, again, probably ok but a bit paranoid as I love my STLINE 🙂

I know it's an old thread, but they'll take a while to saw through this, and by the time they do, climate change will have destroyed the planet anyway
