engine malfunction

hi new to here need help with a issue,my wife was driving our fiesta 13 plate 1.5 diesel when it made a alert sound like low fuel (has half a tank) and died (the car not the wife) she tried restarting it only to get engine malfunction service now pop up on display . i called breakdown who turned up had a quick look and plugged a obd reader in no faults showing so recoverd it home i have a reader and plugged it in and i got a code P0380 glow plug/heater circuit i believe cleared the code but car still fails to start cranks over but wont fire any help advice is much appreciated if anyone has had this happen to them cheers Dave

You need to use a laptop and FORScan software to be able to read all of the Ford specific DTC's.

If the code is saying glow plugs then that's where to start looking, either research how to test individual glow plugs or bite the bullet and replace all 4 (recommended)
